Brittany Lynn Baker

Brittany Lynn Baker received her wings on August 17, 2017. Brittany was born on April 3, 1992 in Weymouth MA. She was a graduate of Rockland High School, class of 2010. Brittany was the beloved daughter of Barbra Baker and her fiance Scott Garner. The cherished grandaughter of Donald & Claudette Baker, James & Patricia Dwyer, Noreen Bjorkman and Larry & Ann Garner. Loving niece to Doris & Michael Fraher, Rick & Kim Nichols, Karen & Arthur Lapham, Donald R. Baker, Jennifer Robb and Susan Chaisson.  She leaves behind a sister, Jennifer Garner and many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. 
 
Brittany also leaves behind two very best friends - Bryanna Mendall and her adoring cousin, Nichole Lapham along with her sweet niece Serina. Brittany grew up in Hanson, MA. She spent a lot of her childhood with the Burlone Family. She loved going to the beach, listening to music and spending time with her family and friends. She shared a special bond with all of her cousins. Brittany loved spending time at her best friend Bryanna Mendall's home. Lisa, Steve & Tanya were like a second family to her. Brittany was a tough cookie on the outside, her quirky and usually grouchy attitude was a given, but we all knew she was a funny and caring person inside who will be missed by all who knew her.  Following is testimony of the love that was shared between Brittany and her cousins:

"Sitting here still in disbelief that my cousin Brittany has passed. Wishing I could see her one more time and tell her how much I believed in her and wanted her to be successful. It is heartbreaking that a young woman with so much potential was taken from us so soon. I love you Brittany Baker. I love my family so much no matter how close our relationship is. Brittany you were so uniquely amazing and all those who knew you knew that you cared about all of us and loved your family, and we love you.  Rest in peace, Brittany Baker."

Visiting hours will be held in The Leighton-MacKinnon Funeral Home 4 West Washington St. (Corner of Rte. 58) Hanson on Saturday August 26th from 10 AM to 1 PM with a memorial service at 1 PM in the Funeral Home. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend.
