Cell Phones For Soliders

Cell Phones for Soldiers hopes to turn old cell phones into more than 12 million minutes of prepaid calling cards for U.S. troops stationed overseas in 2008. To do so, Cell Phones for Soldiers expects to collect 50,000 cell phones each month through a network of more than 3,000 collection sites across the country.

Massachusetts L.A.S.T. (Local Assistance State Team)

Rich is a member of the Massachusetts L.A.S.T. (Local Assistance State Team), a team formed to assist communities and families after the death of a firefighter in the line of duty. This program is on a volunteer basis and sponsored by the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation. Currently he is the only Funeral Director on the team in the Nation. This team will respond to firefighter deaths in Massachusetts and throughout the Country. He has attended specialized training classes in proper notification of death, benefits for survivors, funeral protocols and behavioral and grief counseling.

Old Glory Collection Center

The mission of the Old Glory Collection Center is to collect old, tattered, unusable flags to be retired in a dignified manner in accordance with the U.S. Flag Code.
