My love, thoughts and prayers to his family and friends. Rich was a great man and I am proud to have called him my friend for the short time I was able to know him and work with him. His absence leaves an emptiness in our Amtrak Family that will not be soon filled. I miss my chats and conversations in New Haven and hope that where ever you are you are ok and at peace! Just know that you are loved and respected by your Amtrak Family and will be greatly missed...

I have had the pleasure of knowing the Miner girls from working at TMC. Jude and Lauren are two of my favorite nurses. They attended my daughter's wedding with their husbands and I always enjoy seeing them and hearing all the wonderful stories of their close and happy families. I worked with Rich many times on the train. He always made work fun because he was so happy, had a great sense of humor and was just a great person. He would often ask me to tell him one of my jokes which was its own reward to see him smile and laugh. He once went out of his way to give me a ride home to kingston in a pouring rain storm.
I'm so sorry for your loss, he will be greatly missed.

My deepest sympathy to you all, Rich was a beautiful person. The first time I met Rich was on the train while I was working the cafe car, to make a long story short I was very very busy and he went above and beyond to help me. I couldn't thank him enough, not everyone is that kind. Every time I saw him he always had a big smile and a sparkle in his eye and would always check on me to see if I needed anything. I enjoyed working with him and will miss him dearly. Thank you for letting me share this with you and thank you again my friend Rich for being there for me. May his kind beautiful soul rest in peace.

Mr. Andreassi was such a nice person. I could hear him smile through the phone which is how I came to know him, I am a dispatcher. Continue to grow in his love. When the wind or sun touches your skin feel his love. When the stars shine remember his eyes. As pain as his lost is to you do not get lost in mourning him, he would want each family and friend to keep living life to the utmost. May God grant you peace and comfort
