Dear Bonnie, Beth, Brenda & Family,
I am so very sorry to hear of Bruce's passing. I understand your grief for I lost a brother to a car accident in 1972 and another brother that year also. Since then most of my family has crossed over, but they will always be in my heart. He was a nice guy and will be missed by many. I am also sad to hear of his son's crossing over, but they are now united again in Heaven. I looked at his picture in the paper and could see your mother In him. She was also a lovely woman who delivered my mail in Halifax. You had great parents and I have memories of you all when we went to Halifax Congregational Church together. Sending Prayers to you all with much love...I would like to also share this with you..

I give you this one thought to keep -
I am with you still - I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the sweet uplifting rush,
of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not think of me as gone -
I am with you still in each new dawn.

I was Postmaster of the North Carver Post Office for several years and had to leave to keep a full time position. I missed the community of North Carver, but most of all I missed Shirley, the kind lady who cleaned my office, and Bruce. Together their antics would start my day with laughter. I miss listening to Bruce's stories of kayak/fishing on the Canal and surfing in Newport...he was a true free-spirit. I was devastated to hear of his accident; he was taken from us much to soon. Rest in peace my friend.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I work at the Carver PO and part of my morning routine was unloading Bruce's truck-- for 30 years! I am going to miss him terribly. We would always chat up about something, especially the random birds or animals we would see, as we both started early in the morning. My heartfelt sympathy to you all, Janal Paynter

My heart broke when I heard the news. I've known Bruce for close to 24 years. He was always upbeat and positive. There wasn't anything he wouldn't do to put a smile on someone face. He will be missed by all of us at the Brockton Post Office. Rest in peace kind sir. There is a special place in heaven for you. My deepest condolences to the Wood family.

Our condolences on the passing of your brother, Bruce. We were neighbors on Furnace Street and knew your parents well. Your dad and I began teaching at Silver Lake the same year and we saw each other there and at church. We have moved to South Carolina but received word through our dear neighbor Allison Donovan and we wanted you to know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

I know I share in the sorrow of so many employees of the United States Postal Service.
Bruce really was someone who went the extra mile to help out. Whether he was changing a water bottle for me or doing a little shoveling, to name a few. Bruce will be greatly missed. My condolences to all his loved ones.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Bruce's family. He was a wonderful and kind person that will be missed. He always went the extra mile to help out whether it was questioning a strange car parked in the parking lot for our safety or a bee hive that he would take care of. We will miss Bruce.
