Robert Arthur Frank

Robert  Arthur Frank “Papa”, 81 years old, passed away unexpectedly on November 9, 2021 after a brief illness. He was born May 13, 1940 and grew up in South Weymouth. He lived for 56 years in Hanson where he and his loving bride Donna brought up their family.

Papa was a welder by trade. He enjoyed fishing and drives in his convertible. He also loved coaching youth baseball for his kids and was an avid Red Sox fan.

Robert was raised a Master Mason for 46 years beginning April 22, 1975 and belonged to the Wessagusset Lodge.

He was a loving husband to his late wife Donna Murray Frank for over 50 years. Proud father of his late daughter Pamela Calnan and late son, Robert A. Frank  Jr. He is survived by son David S. Frank of Kingston, his brother William Frank of Weymouth and his sister Judy Stanick of Wisconsin as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Papa missed his loving wife everyday since she passed in 2011 and now, we believe, he is finally content in her arms.

Visiting hours in the Leighton-MacKinnon Funeral Home 4 West Washington St. (Corner of Rte. 58) Hanson on Saturday November 20th Noon to 2:30 PM with a service at 2:30 PM in the Funeral Home. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend.
