Robert Burt Obituary

Robert William Burt aged 72 died peacefully on the morning of Friday September 17, 2021 following a battle with Multiple System Atrophy (MSA). He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend. Survived by his wife with whom he celebrated their 50th anniversary in February. Survived also by 3 children, 8 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.

Robert grew up in the city of Boston, and after graduating from high school proudly joined and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
Prior to his passing, Robert was a dedicated New England sports fan, mainly the Patriots. He enjoyed golfing, watching movies, photography, reading the newspaper, and listening to his music. Robert was also an active and involved member of the Hanson Athletic Association. He and his wife enjoyed travelling, particularly to national parks to appreciate the country’s natural beauty. But above all Robert loved and was dedicated to his family. He cherished the time spent with them and valued each one of them. To his friends - Robert was the life of the party. To his family - he was their rock.

Robert will be remembered by his quick wit and care for those around him. It being his wish, there will be no visitation. A private memorial service will be announced at a later date.
