Madelyn Winn

Madelyn (Cookie) Winn Passed away peacefully on Saturday November 18th at her home in Hanson Mass. After a long battle with Dementia.  Cookie lived in Somerville for many years before moving down to Hanson Mass with her daughter Nancy.

Madelyn was the daughter of Helena and Timothy Cronin of Melrose Mass. She is predeceased by her husband William and her Son Kelly of Somerville. Madelyn is survived by her loving children William Winn Jr. and his companion Nancy Guerreo of Stoneham Ma.Timothy Winn and his companion Carol Mazza from Medford. Michael Winn and his wife Cremildes of Gardner Ma.  Nancy Winn and her Companion Christopher Lyons who was Cookie's best Pal and was just like another son to her. She was loving Grandmother to her Grandchildren, Jillian Winn, Michael Moran, William Winn, Juliet Winn and Kaitly Winn. Also a loving Great grandmother to Matthew and Solie'.

She is preceded in death by her sister Ann Golini of Brewster Mass, Helen, Claire and Walter Cronin all of Melrose Mass. She had many loving Nieces and nephews.

Cookie was a shining star on all she met, she was very fair and so very generous. She loved to get out to a restaurant then a nice long ride. She enjoyed seeing the little ones out and about, they always made her smile and laugh just like when we were growing up. She was such a caring loving mom and we were so very blessed to have her. She graduated from Somerville High school, got into Banking and then left to start a family with the man of her dreams. she was a great wife and a very loyal friend.

She will be greatly Missed by all that knew and loved her.

Services will be held at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne MA on November 24th 2003 @ 12:15 for any one who would like to attend.
