Vera L. Reese (Chapman) of Kingston formerly of Canada died on Monday, October 31, 2011 at Wingate at Silver Lake in Kingston. She was 94 years old. She was born in Canada; daughter of the late Everett and Eva (Waring) Chapman. She was the mother of Eva June Smith and her husband George of Halifax. Also survived by 3 grandchildren Norman D. Smith and his wife Frann R. of Southport, NC, William K. Smith of Harwington CT, and Thomas F. Smith III and his wife Gayle of Brockton, 5 great grandchildren Caleb & Stepheny Hawkins and Brian Smith of Knoxville, Tenn., Vanessa & Nick Abell of Pittsfield, NH, Cassaundra & Kevin Smith of Brockton and 2 great great grandchildren Courtney & Alyssa of Pittsfield, NH. All of whom she loved very much. Vera worked many years for the Singer Company on Temple Place in Boston, followed by many more years as a bookkeeper for Harbor One Credit Union in Brockton.
