Theodore L. Weckbacher "Ted" age 88 of Halifax passed away at Beth Israel Hospital in Plymouth on Saturday January 6, 2018 after a period of failing health. He was the beloved Husband of Elizabeth M. (Linehan) Weckbacher.  The loving Father of Mary G. Weckbacher of Fryeburg, ME, Linda A. McCarthy of Halifax, Elizabeth M. "Lisa" Farley of Plymouth, Theodore L. Weckbacher  Jr. of Kingston, Susan M. Riposta of Ashville, NC, and Kathleen S. Richardson of Fryeburg, ME. Also survived by 13 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren , and many Nieces and Nephews.

Ted worked as a construction worker and then had 23 years as a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service. He is also a U.S. Army Veteran.

The family will be receiving Relatives  and Friends for a celebration of life and a memorial service in the Leighton-MacKinnon Funeral Home 4 West Washington St. (Corner of Rte. 58) Hanson on Saturday January 13, 2018 from 11 AM to 2 PM with services at 2 PM.

In lieu of flowers the family would like donations in Ted's memory made to St. Joseph's Indian School, 1301 North Main St., Chamberlain, SD 57325 saintjosephs@stjo.org
