Shirley M. (Lesueur) Miranda Passed away at her home in Hanson Tuesday December 3rd, 2013 at the age of 78. Wife of Joseph P. Miranda Sr.
Daughter of the late Arthur D. and Florence R. (Barrett) Lesueur. She was loving mother of Dana V. Lesueur and his wife Zenaida of San Francisco, CA, Cheryl A. Nolan and her husband Robert of Hanson, Loretta S. Gomes and her husband Michael of Middleboro, John A. Miranda and his wife Christine of Wareham, Scott B. Miranda and his wife Ann-Marie of Manchester, NH, Michael T. Miranda and his wife Erika of Marion, and the late Joseph P Miranda Jr. of CA.
Sister of Esther M. Williams of Dorchester, Phyllis Wesley of GA, Betty Jane Wornum of Dorchester, the late Virginia E. Chappell , Lucille B. Ezell both of Hanson, Frances W. Cromwell of Boston, Rev. Leota R. Santos of NC, and Arthur D. Lesueur Jr. of FL. Also survived by 25 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held in the Leighton-MacKinnon Funeral Home 4 West Washington St. (Corner Rte. 58) Hanson on Saturday December 7th, 2013 10 AM to 1 PM with services at 1 PM in the Funeral Home. The Rev. Clara Lynch will Officiate. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Burial will be held at a later date.
Shirley was very active at her church in Hanson and the Family would like in lieu of flowers if you would make donations in Shirley's memory to United Church of the First Born 711 Monponsett St. Hanson, MA 02341.
