Obituary


Rosemarie Taylor, 66, of Hanson died peacefully on August 15, 2016 at Signature Medical Center, Brockton. Rosemarie is preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Purcell, sister Barbara Ann Kane, and  brother, Ronald Purcell. She is survived by her daughters, Tammy Taylor, Kim McCoy, and Barbara Fearing and her son in law, Michael Fearing. She was a joyous nana to six grandchildren, Michael Jr., and Adam Fearing, Sarah and Ryan Mastropietro, and Erin and Lynn McCoy. She had a large extended family with many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Rosemarie worked in manufacturing and production as a floor supervisor at USM Corp. in Whitman, MA and Pollak in Canton, MA. She enjoyed traveling the country and beyond through driving trips, boating, and cruising. She was a member of the Woman's Auxiliary at the American Legion Post 226, Hanson, MA. She was a strong, private person with a deep commitment to her family and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Visiting hours will be in the Leighton-MacKinnon Funeral Home 4 West Washington St. (Corner Rte. 58) Hanson Thursday 4-7 PM. Funeral Mass will be held in Our Lady Of the Lake Church 580 Monponsett St.( Rte. 58 ) in Halifax, Friday morning at 9 AM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Burial will follow in Fern Hill Cemetery, Hanson.
