Roger D. Badore of Whitman 81, passed away Sunday June 22, 2025. Beloved husband of Jayne (Matthews) Bedore. Son of the late David F. and Louise M (Estes) Badore of Halifax. Predeceased by his first wife Judy (Nute) Badore with whom they had their beloved son Jason Badore. Also dearly loved by his stepchildren Jeanne Truehart and her husband Scott and Matthew Busch and his wife Kristen. Also the light of his life were his grandchildren Brittany Truehart and wife Shannon, Kaylynne Truehart and Kyle Stoddard, Justin Truehart, and Faith Truehart, Melody Enswiller and husband Chris, Matty Busch, Collon Busch, and Joyce Exell. His bonus great grandbabies Landen Stoddard and Lilliana Enswiller.

Roger was the brother of Pat Smith and husband Don, Dennis Badore and wife Doris, Robert Badore and wife Bonnie, Pam Erwin and husband George, and the late Phil and his wife Nancy. Roger had several Nieces and Nephews whom he adored.

Roger is a U.S. Army Veteran Vietnam Conflict and a member of the American Legion Post in Scituate.  He is a retired member of the Plymouth County Sheriff's Department in Plymouth and started his Corrections officer in the state of Georgia where he lived many years with his wife and son. He loved farming and gardening as well. Roger's compassion in life was all his adventures spent with his grandbabies fishing, camping trips, beach days, gardening, arts and crafts, and motorcycle rides.  Then his other passion was being Santa Claus for all his grandbabies and family for over 30 years.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at 10;30 AM at the Central Cemetery  on Rte. 106 in Halifax with family and close friends, where he'll be buried with his 1st wife Judy. No calling hours.  In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a charity of your choice.
