On Friday, December 21st, 2018, Robert A. Karling (Bullit), son of Evelyn and Robert Karling, Husband of the late Kate A. Karling, passed away at the age of 62. Robert was born on June 10th, 1956 and grew up in the town of Whitman. He is survived by his two daughters Randi and Jessi Karling, siblings Lisa Karling, Linda Cesary, the late Valerie and Gary Karling, grandchildren Jack, Lilah and Alima, along with many other close family and friends.

Robert was married to the love of his life, Kate, for 30 years. He lived and worked in the town of Plympton as the wiring inspector and zoning enforcement officer. He was a master electrician and ran his own business, D & S Electric.  Prior to his career he served in the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed many summers on Ames Island, vacations to the Caribbean, boating, spending time with his family and friends. He had the biggest heart and was always willing to help others. He was quick witted, making everyone around him smile.
