Robert Edward "Bob" Derby passed away on January 22nd after a brief hospital stay; he was 81 years old.  Bob was born and raised in Hanson and lived there most of his life.  He was a licensed electrician and worked at Sigma Instruments (later Fisher Pierce) in Braintree for over 30 years.

Bob leaves behind his sister Barbara (Mudge) of South Carolina and children: Donna Perry of Arizona, Cindy Kelly of Hanson, Robert Derby of Pembroke, Scott and wife Julie Derby of Middleboro, and Mitchell and wife Holly Kidd of Alabama.  He also leaves 9 Grand-Children and 10 Great Grand-Children.  He was pre-deceased by his wife Helen (Kuehl), daughter Robin, son Steven Kidd and brother Kent Derby.

In remembrance of Bob, tell someone you love them, tell someone you're sorry and do something that you've always wanted to do.  Life is too short.
