Robert J. Crawford, 80, of East Bridgewater passed away on November 6, 2024, after a short illness. Robert was born in Boston to Mary (O'Neill) and Joseph Crawford. He was the beloved husband of his loving wife Barbara (Gibbons), loving father of Brian (Kristin) and Kevin Crawford, and devoted Papa of Jacob and Joseph Crawford. He is survived by his brothers John of Cumberland, RI; Kevin (Beverly) of Spotsylvania, VA; and David (Sandra) of Plymouth, MA. He was predeceased by his brothers Joseph and Edward. Robert served his country in the USMC. He was a retired lieutenant of the Boston Fire Department, serving the Department for 33 years. Bobby and Barbara loved "living the dream" at their vacation home in NH, where Bobby enjoyed golfing, boating and socializing with friends and family. Visiting hours will be Tuesday, November 12, from 4 pm to 7 pm at Leighton-MacKinnon Funeral Home, 4 West Washington St., (corner of rte 58) Hanson, MA. The funeral will be on Wednesday, November 13, at 10 am, at St John Catholic church, 210 Central St., E. Bridgewater, MA. Burial will be in Central Cemetery E.
