Richard Harris Marshall, 89, passed away on February 10, 2026 in Port St. Lucie, FL. Richard was born in Milton, MA and graduated from the oldest High School in the United States, Boston Latin High School, class of 1955 where he excelled in Track, Football, and achieved the rank of Commanding General in the Boston Schoolboy Parade. He served in the US Army and worked in Data Processing for many years before joining the United States Postal Service from which he retired in 2003.

Richard was the oldest child of Frank E. and Dorothy W. (Kelley) Marshall, now deceased. Sisters include Marianne E. Harrison and Jeanne M. Shea, both now deceased. Brother James E. Marshall currently resides in Port St. Lucie, FL.

Richard married Louisa Castroleon, now deceased, and their children are Jeanne L. Marshall, Rose M. Marshall, and Gary R. Marshall. Grandchildren include Ashley M. Marshall and Samantha Marshall, both of whom reside in MA. Richard married Margorie Smith, now deceased, and their child is Keri-Ann Mashall, now deceased.

Cremation will take place in FL, after which the remains will be transported to MA for burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
