And think of her as living

in the hearts of those she touched...

for nothing loved is ever lost,

and she was loved so much. (E. Brenneman)

Pauline Salevsky Magnuson passed away peacefully at her home in Hanover, MA on Sept. 15, 2015 with her family gathered beside her. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Eric Magnuson, her children Maxine, Nadine (Bill Hunt), Eric (Deborah) and Oscar (Diane), grandchildren Rory, Paulena, Catherine, Hannah and Logan, her brother Ed and sister Edith, many nieces, nephews and cousins, and countless friends. Born Sept. 17, 1932 in Buckingham, PA, Pauline attended Arizona State University and was a USAF veteran who lived all over the US with her husband and children in the USAF. She was a devoted mother, a admirable role model and a career woman, working for Sevigny Candy, then FB Washburn Candy. Thoughtful and empathetic, she was known for the cards she loved to send. Pauline was a presence - her infectious smile brightened any room she entered and she had effortless and impeccable style. She delighted in the company of family and friends and nothing gave her more pleasure than celebrating any occasion with them. Pauline touched so many lives and left us all with wonderful memories. She was well loved and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.
