Norman G. "Pete" Reed of Halifax passed away Friday March 11, 2016 at the age of 78. He was the beloved husband of 33 years to Janet L. (Thackleberry) Reed.  Loving father of Scott Reed and his wife Holly of NC, Shawn Reed of Hanson, and Steven Reed and his wife Jennifer of Halifax.  Step father of Gary Waterman of FL, Sharon Brown and her husband Calvin of Westborough, Cindy Bartholomew of Plymouth, Debbie Coghill and her husband Gene of Halifax, Lisa Tracey and her husband James of Abington, and  Paul Marzocca and his wife Michelle of AZ. Also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and 2 nephews.

Visiting hours in the Leighton-MacKinnon Funeral Home 4 West Washington St., (Corner Rte. 58) Hanson, Wednesday 4-7 PM with services in the Funeral Home at 7 PM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Internment Private.
