Michael Paul
Stempleski
Mar 7, 1978 — Jul 20, 2026
Sunday
Leighton-MacKinnon Funeral Home
11:00 am - 2:00 pm (Eastern time)
It is with profound shock and broken hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Michael Paul Stempleski, 48, of Hanover MA on July 20, 2026.
Affectionately known as Mikey, MP, and Michael Paul, he was born on March 7, 1978 to Michael J. and Diane L. (Sacco) Stempleski Jr. Raised in Hanover, Ma, he found a love for baseball at an early age, inspiring him to pitch for countless years in the HYAA program. His passion for the game produced a devote Red Sox fan. He jumped on the Patriots bandwagon several years later and remained a fan of that sport as well. He went on to become a licensed Fire Protection Sprinkler Fitter, working most recently at Peak Fire Protection. Mikey enjoyed traveling, working around the house, and cooking. As a "foodie", some would say he was a food critic in his own right.
He leaves behind his wife Renee Deane Stempleski, of Hanover and his kitty Cassie. Mikey met the love of his life in 1997 and they married in Las Vegas in 2022. She was his constant and his everything; whom he cherished and unwaveringly adored until his passing.
He also leaves behind his sister, Priscilla Spano, and her husband Richard as well as his Godson/Nephew Zakkary, all from Hanson, MA. whose absence has left an unprecedented void in their lives.
We would like to thank all of our family and friends for the immeasurable support they have given us during this unfathomable loss.
Visiting Hours will be held in the Leighton-MacKinnon Funeral Home 4 West Washington St.(Corner of Rte. 18) Hanson on Sunday July 26th from 11 AM to 1;30 PM with Services in the Funeral Home at 1:30 PM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend.
A celebration of Life will immediately take place following the Service at Renee & Mikey's Home located at 44 Pine Island road in Hanover.
In lieu of flowers, we ask you to consider a donation to the MSPCA or any charity of your choosing, in his honor.
