Michael Altieri of Whitman passed Away on Wed February 1 2017. Michael was born in Brockton Ma on August 28th 1921 and was a Resident of Whitman for over 50 years.

Michael is survived by his loving wife Alice Altieri (Anderson), His Son Chris and his wife Eileen Altieri of Lakeville MA,  and his daughter Andrea Altieri of NH. He is also survived by his Sister Marie and her husband Joe Hanley and  2 grandchildren Samantha Altieri and Michelle Altieri.

Michael was part of the Whitman VFW and the Brockton Italian American Club. He is a veteran of the Army and served in WWII.  Michael was an avid sports fan.  He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Michael loved his grand-children and grand-dogs.

Visiting hours will be held in the Leighton MacKinnon Funeral Home, 4 Washington St. Hanson MA on Monday February 6th from 9-11AM.  A Funeral Service will be held at 11AM in the Funeral home. Burial will take place in Pratt Cemetery Easton MA. Family and Friends respectfully invited to attend. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Whitman VFW.
