MARIE A. CALOGERO (Ferranti) of Hanson, passed away peacefully while surrounded by her family on November 12th, 2019 after a long illness. She was born in Cambridge Massachusetts on February 23rd 1943 as the daughter of the late Peter and Mary Ferranti. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years Francis L. Calogero II, her two sons: Francis L. Calogero III and his wife Colleen of East Bridgewater, and Peter F. Calogero Sr and his wife Jennifer of Middleborough. She had four grandchildren Peter, Sarah, Jake, and Patricia.

Marie is survived by her siblings Rita Halle, John Ferranti and his wife Teresa, Diane Drake and her husband Richard, Deborah Palazzolo and her husband Joseph, Angela Poyant, and the late Elanor Saunders and her husband Russell. She had many nieces and nephews whom she adored.

Marie was a wonderful, caring and thoughtful woman who devoted all her time to her family. An amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sister and Aunt, who would do anything for anyone. She loved to smile, laugh, dance, travel, cook, and listen to music.

A funeral mass in her honor will be held at St. Joseph's of the Worker Church, 1 Maquan Street, Hanson MA 02341 on Wednesday November 20, 2019 at 9am.  In lieu of flowers please make a donation in her honor to the Dana Farber Institute - via www.dana-farber.org/gift.
