Obituary

On June 12, 2024, surrounded by his family, Kevin Winters Belmore, of Hanson, Massachusetts, died peacefully following a period of failing health. He was 35 years old.

Born at the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth on February 22, 1989, Kevin was the son of Stephen and Carolyn (Winters) Belmore.

Kevin was a graduate of the South Shore Vocational Technical High School as a precision machinist. He worked briefly as a machinist at AB-Wey Machine & Die Company in Pembroke. Making a career change into the field of first responders, Kevin became an EMT. He worked for several years at Brewster and Cataldo Ambulance Companies.

Kevin loved fishing, kayaking, skateboarding, and snowboarding. He is survived by his parents and his two brothers: Andrew and Adam Belmore.

Visiting hours will be held from the Leighton-MacKinnon Funeral Home 4 West Washington St. (Corner of Rte 58) Hanson on Saturday June 29th 10 AM to 12:30 PM with services in the in Funeral Home at 12:30 PM. Burial will follow at Fern Hill Cemetery, Hanson.

Relatives and friends respectfully invited  to attend.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to: The Code Green Campaign (non-profit supporting mental health advocacy and education for first responders) or The Cancer Center at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth or The Cranberry Hospice also in Plymouth.
