Kathleen Ann Faiella RN, DNS, CDONA 70, of Hanson, MA passed away on May 23, 2023.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Patrick Faiella of Hanson, MA, her two children Annmarie Faiella of Boston, MA and Ryan Faiella of Hanson, MA, her granddaughters Madison and Hailey of Waltham, MA, her brother John McNeil and his wife Michelle McNeil of Virginia Beach, VA, her sister Margaret Flannigan of Florida and her many nieces and nephews.

Kathleen was a nurse for 41 years, starting her career at Brockton Hospital on the oncology unit and then focusing on Long Term Care where she ascended to the role of Director of Nurses at both Colonial Nursing and Rehabilitation in Weymouth, MA and The Maples in Wrentham, MA serving as a Director of Nurses for 27 years.

Kathleen found peace and joy in nature, her beautiful yard and the beach were her favorite places. She loved art, reading and travelling and shared those loves with her husband, children, and grandchildren. With her family, Kathleen visited many places but had a special fondness for Prince Edward Island and Bermuda. She was the most dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and nurse. She will be so terribly missed. Services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made on Kathleen's behalf to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
