Joseph Stanley Deagle, of Wilmington North Carolina, formerly from Pembroke MA passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 6, 2024. He was born on December 13, 1958 in Weymouth MA. He was the son of the late Stanley Deagle and Dorothy (Rano) Deagle of Pembroke. Joe lived in the Halifax/Hanson area for over 50 years of his life. He loved spending time with family and friends at the many parties he hosted in the backyard of his family home in Halifax. He enjoyed riding quads with his kids and fishing in the bogs and pond close to his home. He loved driving around on his motorcycle and playing darts with friends on the dart team at the Hanson AA where he was a member for many years. He had a passion for cooking that followed him through many years of his life. He owned a sub shop and a breakfast place in Massachusetts before he followed his dream to move south to warmer weather. Then went on to cooking at a college in North Carolina and then to working as a chef on a cruise ship. He enjoyed collecting coins, old antiques and anything with some history behind it.

Joseph was the former Husband of Donna (Craine) Orlando of Brockton and Father to Joseph Deagle and his wife Rachel of Easton, Kerrie (Deagle) Mitchell and her husband Matthew of Plymouth. He was a beloved Grandfather to Alanna, Gavin, Kilian, Mason & Bailee. Brother to Linda Lasher , Joyce (Lasher) Conefrey, Norman Lashed and the late Bruce Lasher. He leaves behind many friends and extended family.

His celebration of life will be held on his birthday, December 13, 2024 at the American Legion in Hanson from 5-8pm.
