John G. Weeden Sr. of Whitman passed away Sunday November 23, 2014 at the age of 82. Loving father of Susann Weeden of CT, John G. Weeden Jr. of Plymouth, Lorie Lincoln of Berkley, Victoria Weeden of Middleboro, Frank Weeden of CT, and the late Nancy Machado of Fall River. Brother of Hazel Ruel of Hanson, Warren Weeden of FL, the Late Betty Weeden of Brockton and the late Howard and Larry Weeden of New Mexico. Also survived by several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visiting hours in the Leighton-MacKinnon Funeral Home 4 West Washington St., (Corner Rte. 58) Hanson Saturday November 29th 12-2 PM, with services in the Funeral Home at 2 PM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Interment private. John was a member of the Whitman Historical Society, and he loved playing the guitar and oil painting, he also loved model trains.
