Obituary
John R. Klerowski, 76, of Halifax, formerly of Dorchester passed away on February 22, 2012 at Jordan Hospital in Plymouth. John was the loving husband of Mary (Sheehan) Klerowski of Halifax. John was the beloved father of Laura Higgins and her husband Jason of Halifax and Alan Klerowski of Halifax. Mr. Klerowski is also survived by his twin granddaughters Ashlyn and Brooklyn Higgins of Halifax.
John was born on September 5, 1935 in Boston, MA. He was the son of the late Blanch Klerowski. Mr. Klerowski worked for the City of Boston in the Water and Sewer Division. He and Mrs. Klerowski met in the State Ballroom and later married, settling in Dorchester. They would later move to Halifax and call it home for 28 years. In addition to his family, John enjoyed "yard saling", playing cards and computer games.
Visiting Hours will be held on Wednesday February 29th from 5-8 pm at Leighton-MacKinnon Funeral Home 4 W. Washington St. Hanson, MA. A funeral service will be held on Thursday March 1st at 11 am in the funeral home.
