Obituary
Janet L. (Berry) Pina of Monponsett passed away at the Brockton Hospital on July 10, 2012 after a brief illness, she was 59. Daughter of the late Donald A. and Naomi (Hunter) Berry. Loving mother of Stacey A. Pina of Monponsett, Jamie L. Sordillo of Bridgewater, Mark E. Pina and Curt M. Pina both of Middleboro. Sister of Paul M. Berry of Keywest, FL, Donna E. Berry of Monponsett, Judith B. Williams of East Taunton, Lisa M. Berry Barbosa of Narragansett, RI and Barbara Shalmere of Monponsett. Loving grandmother of Jarrod, Alivia, Curt, Jr., Avery, Ayden and Nicholas. Also survived by three nieces.
Janet lived in Monponsett for most of her life. She was educated in the Whitman-Hanson school system. Janet was a dedicated employee for the Department of Mental Health at the Brockton Mutli-Service Center for 28 years, both as a House Manager and more recently on a Community Based Flexible Supports Teams. She was also proud of her work as a shared living provider. Janet was a loving daughter, sister, mother and grandmother who devoted her time to her family.
Visiting Hours at Leighton-MacKinnon Funeral Home 4 W. Washington St. HANSON (Corner of Rte. 58) on Monday July 16, 2012 from 4-7pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
