James L. Lewis of Hanson formerly of Dorchester passed away on Saturday September 25, 2016 at the age of 78. He was the beloved husband of 52 years to Andrea (Viglas) Lewis.

He was the father of 5 children, grandfather of 8 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. He was one of 13 brothers and sisters from Dorchester and uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held in the Leighton-MacKinnon Funeral Home 4 West Washington St. (Corner of Rte. 58) Hanson on Thursday, September 29 from 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of the Lake Church (Rte. 58) Halifax on Friday at 9 AM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Burial will be at Central Cemetery, Halifax. U.S. Air Force Veteran.

Family and friends are invited back to the Meadowbrook Restaurant Rte. 27 in Hanson after the Burial in Central Cemetery.
