Obituary
James W. Hammond of Hanson passed away Thursday December 18th, 2014 at the age of 87. He was the beloved husband of 67 years to Gertrude E. (Cobbett) Hammond. Loving father of Joyce E Hammond of East Bridgewater, Rita M. Maliff and her husband Kenneth of Duxbury, and the late William J. Hammond. Brother of Avis Munro of FL. Grandfather of Kenneth J. and Malissa S. Maliff both of Duxbury. James was a Parts supervisor and worked for Hudson Bus Lines in Whitman for over 25 years and a U.S. Navy Veteran W.W. ll. Visiting hours will be held in the Leighton-MacKinnon Funeral Home 4 West Washington St. (Corner of Rte. 58) Hanson on Monday 9-11 AM with services in the Funeral Home at 11 AM.
