Former owner of Charlies Snack Bar, Brant Rock.  Hazel A. (Weeden) Ruel of Hanson passed away peacefully  at her home Wednesday October 14, 2015 at the age of 87. She was the beloved wife of the late Edwin T. Ruel.  The loving mother of  Thomas "Tom" A. of Pembroke,  Robert M. of Whitman, Peter E. of Halifax, Debra L. Ruel Heath of Hanson, Kevin S. of Hawaii, Timothy J. of Hanson, the late Paul E. and Janine A. Ruel. Sister of Warren Weeden of FL, the late Betty Lambert of Brockton, and the late John Weeden of Whitman. Also survived by 13 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and  cousins.

She graduated from Whitman High School Class of 1946.  She was an Associate member of Hanover American  Legion, and attended the Hanson Senior Center.

Visiting hours will be in the Leighton-MacKinnon Funeral Home 4 West Washington St. (Corner Rte. 58) Hanson  Sunday 2-6 PM. Funeral service's will be held in the Hanson  Congregational  Church, High St., Hanson on  Monday at 10 AM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited  to attend.
