Gregg F. Ripley, 62, of Hanson, previously from Hanover,  passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends at 4:45pm on Tuesday, January 3, 2017.

He is survived by his mother Helen Ripley Price, brothers Paul Ripley and his wife Lee, Chester Ripley,  sister Beth Ripley Cobb and her husband David.  His daughter Jacquelyn Wales Ripley, son Jonathan Ripley and two grandchildren Landen Ripley and Nathan Ripley, and nephews and Nieces, Nickolas Ripley, William Cobb, Allison Cobb, John Cobb, Adam McCarty, and Derek McCarty. He is preceded in death by his father Russell Ripley, stepfather William Price, and Jacquelyn and Jonathan's  mother Lynne Wales Ripley.

He was an Airforce Veteran, entrepreneur,  and was presently retired. Gregg had a lust for life and lived it to the fullest. Anyone he met became an instant friend. He could tell a joke like no other, with his gruff loud voice and captivating smile. As a dear friend said "next time I hear thunder, I'll have to assume he's making 'em laugh, real hard, in the great beyond".

Visiting hours will be held in the Leighton-MacKinnon Funeral Home 4 West Washington St. (Corner of Rte. 58) Hanson on Tuesday January 10th 4-8 PM.
