Obituary
Francis "Frank" L. Shaughnessey Jr. of Neponset passed away at his home on Thursday July 15, 2021 at the age of 81. Retired Boston FireFighter of Engine 17 and the Fire Brigade. He was the beloved husband of 59 years to Janet F. ( Maloney) Shaughnessey.
The loving father of Paul F. Shaughnessey and his wife Kathey and John P. Shaughnessey all of Dorchester. Also survived by 3 grandchildren, Kara McLaughlin, Jessica and Melisa Shaughnessey. 1 great grandchild Haley Francis McLaughlin. Brother of the late Jane Riley of Bourne.
Member of Boston FireFighters Local 718 and U.S. Army Veteran Vietnam War.

Visiting hours will be on Monday July 19th 9 AM to 11 AM at St. Martin DePorres Parish, St. Ann's Church, 251 Neponset Ave., Dorchester, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 AM. Interment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend.
