Frances R. Niland of Hanson formerly of South Boston passed away on March 30, 2012 at the age of 76. Mrs. Niland was the beloved wife of John F. Niland of Hanson. She was the loving mother of John Niland of E. Bridgewater, Theresa McGovern of Plympton and Donna Folan of Hanson. Frances was the proud grandmother of Ashley Dorethy of Pennsylvania, Gregory Niland of E. Bridgewater, Jamie Folan of Hanson, Leanne Folan of Hanson and Lauren of Folan.
Frances was born on June 13, 1935 in Boston, MA. She was the daughter of the late Raymond Bright and Mary McDonough. She was a hardworking wife and mother who took great pride in making her own home, her family was everything to her.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated for Frances on Tuesday April 2, 2012 at 9 am at Our Lady of the Lake in Halifax. Calling Hours will be held 5-8pm on Monday April 1st at Leighton-MacKinnon Funeral Home 4 W. Washington St. HANSON. Interment will be in Fern Hill Cemetery in Hanson following the Funeral Mass on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers donations may be made "In Memory of Frances Niland" to Old Colony Hospice 247 N. Main St 4th Floor Randolph, MA 02367.
