Obituary
Edward L. Fitzpatrick III age 48 of New Bedford passed away Sunday February 1, 2015 after a lengthy illness. He was the beloved son of Edward L Fitzpatrick Jr. of Halifax formerly of Hanson and Beverly (White) Bertrand of South Hamilton. Father of Christian Fitzpatrick and dear friend of Karen Gonsalves of New Bedford. Brother of Kevin M Fitzpatrick of Mansfield, Kate J. Fitzpatrick of Worcester, Molly E. Fitzpatrick of Oregon, and Jeff Bertrand of NH. Edward was a fisherman and clam digger and loved the ocean and sea. He also enjoyed playing his guitar. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph The Worker Church (Corner of Rte's 14 and 58) in Hanson on Saturday February 14th at 11 AM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. A collation will be held in the St. Joseph's Hall after Mass. The family would like donations made in Edward's memory to Fairhaven Cancer Center 206 Mill Rd. Fairhaven, MA 02719.
