Edna Louise (Mitchell) Green died peacefully with her family by her side, at the age of 83 in Brockton Massachusetts on Monday, July 8, 2024. Edna was born in Halifax MA in 1940. Her parents were Henry Mitchell and Doris Mitchell and she grew up in Whitman, MA. She met her husband Joseph R. Green of 58 years in Alaska. After traveling with the Army for 20 years, they moved back to settle in Pembroke, MA. She is survived by her children, (daughter) Daniela F. Fulton (Dani) of Brockton, Mass, Hermann Markus Green (Mark) of Leonardtown, MD, and Mitchell JH Green (Mitch) of E. Bridgewater, Mass. Granddaughter Jennifer Lee Green and great-granddaughters Quorra Elaine and Skylinn Kay Green of Atkinson NC, Grandson Joseph Arthur Fulton of Brockton, Mass., Sister Kathleen (Mitchell) Fuller of Halifax, MA, Brother Adam Mitchell of E. Bridgewater, MA. Edna Green was a kind, caring, and loving woman who loved to laugh. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and the holidays and was happiest when surrounded by her family. She will be missed by many.

A graveside service will be held at the Mass National Cemetery in Bourne on Thursday, August 1st, 2024 at 10:15 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.

A Celebration of Life for Edna will be held at the First Congregational Church of Hanson 639 High St. Hanson, Saturday,  August 3rd, 2024 at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Arrangements made by Leighton-MacKinnon Funeral Home, Hanson.
