Earle Calderwood of Halifax died on May 29, 2012 at the Radius Healthcare Center in Plymouth. He was 90 years old. He was born in Dorchester; son of the late Philip P. and Bessie E. (Norman) Calderwood. He attended Boston Schools and was a WWII Veteran of the US Army. He was employed at the Quincy Shipyard and worked for the Braintree School System as a custodian for over 30 years. He was a member of the Masons and the Kiwanis Club.



He was the beloved husband of the late Beatrice (Belyea) Calderwood and the father of Donald C. Calderwood of TN and Ronald W. Calderwood of Halifax. He was the brother of Edward Calderwood of CA. Earle is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.



A Funeral Service will be celebrated on Monday, June 4, at noon in the Leighton-MacKinnon Funeral Home 4 West Washington St. (at Rte 58) HANSON. Calling hours on Monday prior to the service from 10 am to noon. Interment in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Relatives and friends are respectfully invite to attend.
