Dorothy L Bell, of Hanson, MA.  passed away peacefully at South Shore Hospital on March 18, 2025, at the age of 97. Born in Weymouth, Dorothy went to Rockland schools. Then worked for several years at the Rockland Webbing in the office, and also in the processing department at Plymouth, and Santander Banks. Dorothy is predeceased by her loving spouse of 49 years, Ernest L Bell, She is survived by their daughter, Linda Coughlin and Mal Campbell, and their grandchildren, Patrick Coughlin and Jodi Coughlin, Ronald Smith and Alura Smith. Plus, three great grandchildren Cora and Asher Coughlin, Owen Robichaud. Her brother Robert Fisher of Rockland and sister Carol Goulet of Oklahoma, plus several nieces and nephews and caring wonderful friends. Dorothy attended her class luncheon once a month and was very artistic, she used to knit beautiful sweater, did several paintings in different mediums, her love of bingo, going to Foxwoods or Las Vegas,  her love of travel took her all over the world. She spent lots of days at Leah's club at the Hanson Senior Center and then Colony Center for Health and Rehab. in Abington. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.  A private memorial service will be held at a later date Fern Hill Cemetery Hanson. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hanson Senior Center in Dorothy's memory.
