Donna Jean (Craig) MacDonald passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of December 14, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born June 30th 1947 in Boston, MA. She was the beloved daughter of the late Ella V. Craig of Chelsea, Nova Scotia, and the late Donald G. Craig of Mapleton, ME. Donna grew up in Roxbury/Mission Hill, MA, where she formed lifelong values of resilience, loyalty, and devotion to family.

Donna also embraced the entire MacDonald family as her own hosting and running countless gatherings that became treasured traditions - including the infamous Labor Day cookouts and the beloved MacDonald Family Christmas parties which proudly continues to this day. She especially loved Easter and took great joy in preparing special Easter egg hunts each year for both her adult children and grandchildren, creating memories that will be cherished forever. She also loved getting the family together to dance in the kitchen filling her home with music, laughter, and joy.
Donna was blessed with neighbors on Forest Street who became more like family, especially Brenda and Mickey Smith, always watching over her with care and kindness. Professionally, she was known as a dedicated and respected manager for the Sears Service Center and Sears retail store for many years where her strong work ethic, leadership, and commitment earned the admiration of coworkers and customers alike.
Above all, Donna had a heart of gold and was a fierce protector of those she loved. She will be remembered for her unwavering strength, her welcoming home, her laughter-filled gatherings, and the way she made everyone feel included, safe, and deeply loved.
