David Wayne Oksanen of Rockland passed away Thursday September 4, 2014 at the age of 69. He was the beloved husband of Doris (Whalen) Oksanen Son of Glenna (Benton) Oksanen and the late Solon Oksanen of Halifax. Father of Scott Oksanen of Hawaii and Lori-Ann Stanton of Whitman. Stepfather of William Whalen, Paula Hamill, Patricia Rock, Judith Eramo, Nancy Whalen, and Jean Furlong. Grandfather of Alex Oksanen, Alana Oksanen, and Alexis Stanton, great grandfather of Lina Pacheco. Dear friend of Tony Gramazio and Marie Benoit. Visiting hours in the Leighton-MacKinnon Funeral Home 4 West Washington St. (Corner of Rte. 58) Hanson Thursday September 11th, 6-8 PM, with services in the Funeral Home at 7:30 PM.
