Keefe, Darlene, 53, of Weymouth and Norton, died peacefully on September 25, 2022 at the Bay Path Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Duxbury after a long illness, surrounded by family. She was the daughter of Diane Keefe of Weymouth, and the late Daniel Keefe of Foxboro. She was predeceased by her former husband, Michael Fitzgerald of Norton, and is survived by five children: Amanda, Jessica, Michael, Daniel and Melanie Fitzgerald, all of Norton and surrounding area, and several grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister Debra Keefe, and is survived by two brothers, Daniel Keefe of WA and David Keefe of NC, and a sister, Jennifer Hunt of Weymouth, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Darlene worked for many years as a server in various restaurants. She was fortunate to have a large extended and close family, with many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was friendly with most of her cousins, and very close to a few, particularly Ann Keefe, who attended to her with loving care while she was sick. She was a good-hearted, fun-loving and sociable woman, always entertaining, and a pleasure to be with.
