Beverly M. LaFauci (Mansfield) of Pembroke, formerly of Hanson and Whitman passed away on Sunday, February 17, 2013. She was 85 years old. She was born in Brockton; daughter of the late William & Mildred (Jones) Mansfield. She was the wife of the late John C. LaFauci and the late George C. Ford Jr. She was the mother of Donna Newcomb and her husband Rick of Pembroke, Janet Fantasia and her husband Tom of Milton and the late Ronald G. Ford and mother in law of Gail Ford of Florida. She was the sister of Jacqueline Ibbitson of Hanson, Marie Pompeo of Whitman and the late Dottie Swan. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and several nieces & nephews.



Beverly worked as a secretary in the Guidance Department at Silver Lake School District for 40 years. She also worked at Ocean Spray in Hanson and Hanson Hardware Store. She was a member of the Hanson First Baptist Church where she sang in choir. She was a member of the Eastern Star for 50 years and the Wompatuck Lodge. Beverly volunteered at South Shore Hospital and Pembroke Council on Aging. She enjoyed traveling to many places.



Calling hours on Thursday, Feb. 21, from 4-8 pm in the Leighton-MacKinnon Funeral Home 4 West Washington St. (at rte 58), Hanson. A Funeral Service will be celebrated on Friday at 10 am in the funeral home. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment at a later date in Pembroke Cemetery.
