Barbara Anne (Lane) Roberts, formerly of Hanson died on January 28, 2024 at the age of 82. She was the wife of the late Thomas B Roberts of Hanson. Mother of Jennifer Roberts and her wife Teri Buttner of Holbrook and Kenneth Roberts and his wife Michelle of Fort Myers Fl. Sister of Kathy Massi of Myrtle Beach SC and late Sister Linda Benson of Middleboro. Grandmother of Megan, Cameron, Chloe and Devon.

Barbara was born in Weymouth and is a graduate of Weymouth HS. Lived in Hanson for 38 years before moving to Middleboro for 11 years. Barbara worked as a clerk and bookkeeper at a Hanson and Halifax clothing boutique for 10 years. Barbara was involved in the town of Hanson sports, fundraising, and the community Christmas program for over 30 years. Barbara served as the president of the Visiting Nurse's Association in Hanson. Barbara was an active member and Deacon at the Silver Lake Chapel in Plympton. Barbara loved bowling at Alley Kat Kingston and playing cards with friends.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 from 10a-12p at Leighton-McKinnon Funeral Home 4 West Washington Street, (corner of rte 58) Hanson MA. Followed by a Service at 12pm at the Funeral Home. Donations can be made to the Cerebral Palsy of Massachusetts, 43 Old Colony Ave, Quincy MA 02170 to help Barbara's granddaughter Devon and others who are living with Cerebral Palsy.
