Alberta M. (Bounds) Stillings of Pembroke age 89 passed away Friday November 15, 2013 at her home after a long illness. Beloved wife of the late Ardon P. Stillings. Alberta was born in Austria, NY and lived her last 60 years

in Pembroke. She served in the U.S. Coast Guard during W.W. ll. While living in Pembroke she formed and sold

her produce in a farm stand on School St. She then worked as a nurses aide at Plymouth Count Hospital until

she retired. Alberta later worked at Stop and Shop in Halifax until she retired again at age 85. Alberta had many hobbies, she enjoyed quilting, gardening, reading, cooking and canning. She loved cooking for neighbors and friends. She is survived by her daughter Melinda Stillings of Pembroke, a son Blaine Stillings of Colorado, a daughter Susan Berg and her husband Wayne of Colorado , and a son Carl Stillings of Wareham. Also survived by 4 grandchildren, Hannah, Ben, Peter, and Evain. Visiting hours in the Leighton-MacKinnon Funeral Home 4 West Washington St (Corner Rte. 58) Hanson Thursday Nov. 21st 5-7:30 PM with services at 7:30 PM in the Funeral Home.
