Albert, Jr. Charles J. (Chuck, CJ) passed away unexpectedly on September 29, 2017 at the age of 78.

He was born in Boston, has spent the last 26 years residing in Hanover, MA.  He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Margaret (Peg) Albert. He also survived by his sister Barbara (Albert) Catabia of Hingham, brother Robert Albert and his wife Kathryn of Holbrook, his sister Alice (Albert) Wegman of Bridgewater and pre-deceased by his parents Charles Albert and Caroline Eastman Long, sister Janet (Albert) Wells and his life-long friend Neil Kirkergard. He is also survived by his four step-children, Rick Flood and his wife Denise of Rockland, Caren (Flood) Endres and her husband Leighton of FL, Paula Jean (PJ) (Flood) Mains and her husband Brian of Whitman, and her son Timothy Flood of Wareham.  He is also survived by nine (9) grandchildren and seven (7) great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  He leaves behind many close friends that loved him dearly.

He worked at Avon Custom Mixing in Holbrook for 27 years before retiring. In 2009 Chuck was inducted into the Massachusetts Country Music Awards Association. He was known for over 40 years as "Chuck Stevens and the Wildwood Band", popular in local American Legions, VFWs and many other establishments on the South Shore.  He was also active in performing for many benefit Jamborees.  His love for country music continued into his retirement with weekly jam sessions.

Visiting hours will be in the Leighton-MacKinnon Funeral Home, 4 West Washington St. ( Corner Rte. 58) Hanson on Friday, October 6th, from 5 -9 PM   With a service in the Funeral Home at 6 PM.
