Jonathan Dickerson Obituary

Jonathan W. Dickerson, 36, of Middleborough passed away last weekend.  He was born to Cindy and Ted Dickerson on April 8, 1985.  Jon grew up in Hanson where he attended school and graduated Whitman Hanson Regional High School in 2003.  He went on to pursue a Facilities Engineering degree at Massachusetts Maritime Academy, and was most recently employed as a Metrology Technician at Moderna in Norwood.

Jon was an amazingly talented person and could do anything, currently in the process of rehabbing his historic home.  He was a devoted “dog dad” of Akira and enjoyed paddle boarding and hiking with her, as well as gardening vegetables and flowers, and spending time with his family and friends.  Jon was the most selfless, caring person and always willing to lend a helping hand to not only family members and friends, but to anyone that needed it.  Jonathan always made his family proud and he will be dearly missed.

Jon is survived by his mother Cindy of Wareham, his father Ted and wife Deb of Braintree, his siblings Justin of Wareham and Heather of Middleborough, and beloved canine companion Akira.  He leaves his maternal grandparents Richard and Sally Ellis of Zephyrhills, FL, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  He has now joined his Nana and Auntie Peggy in Heaven.

We request all of Jon’s loved ones to join us in celebrating his beautiful life at Loon Pond Lodge in Lakeville, at 12pm on Saturday, September 4.
