Margaret E. (Turner) Bonney

Margaret E. (Turner) Bonney of Hanson passed away on Monday November 14, 2016 at the age of 83.  She was the beloved wife of 63 years to David H. Bonney. Daughter of the late Arthur and Mary (Gillis) Turner. Loving mother of Wayne D. Bonney and his wife Mary of Reeves LA, Kevin N. Bonney and his wife Kimberley of Pembroke, and Melanie Siek and her husband  Jonathan of Hilderness, NH. Sister of the late Mary Walz and the late Arthur Turner. Also survived by 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Margaret was employed as a Secretary at the Indian Head School in Hanson for 30 years and at the Whitman-Hanson Regional School for 10 years. She lived in Hanson most of her life and was a member of the First Baptist Church  in Hanson. She was a lover of the outdoors, She loved the mountains and love to ski on Cannon Mountain. She enjoyed working in her flower garden and loved to swim and being together with her family and friends around the pool.

Visiting hours will be held in the Leighton-MacKinnon Funeral Home 4 West Washington St. (Corner Rte. 58), Hanson Friday 5-8 PM. Funeral service's will be held in the First Baptist Church in Hanson 214 Main St.  (Rte. 27), Hanson, Saturday at 11 AM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Burial will be at a later date.
