Madeline A. (Lepine) Guilford 95, of Holiday, FL, passed away peacefully following a brief illness on December 20, 2018. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Earle. F. Guilford, Sr.; son, Earle F. Guilford, Jr.: sisters, Bernadette MacDonald and Lorraine Dumais. Her survivors include her son, John Guilford (Joan), daughters, Nancy Guilford and Kathleen Mederios (Wayne), daughter-in-law, Lois Guilford; eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren: her brother, George J. Lepine, Jr.; sisters-in-law, and many nieces and nephews.
Madeline spent most of her life in Brockton, MA. She and Earle, Sr. both retired from New England Telephone and Telegraph. At the time of her retirement, Madeline was an Administrative Assistant in Boston. Together she and Earle, Sr. relocated to Holiday, FL where they enjoyed many years while also returning to Cape Cod, MA each year to spend the summer months. An avid Red Sox fan, Madeline also often enjoyed playing Bingo.
Her family was an enormous source of pride to her. She especially loved family gatherings. Additionally, Madeline enjoyed sharing time with friends at weekly lunches and various other activities. She was a member of the Massachusetts Club and the Telephone Pioneers.
Visiting hours will be held in the Samson-Hickey-Grenier Funeral Home, Brockton on Friday December 28th 2-6 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated
at Christ The King Church 42 Wendell Ave., Brockton Saturday morning at 9 AM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Burial will follow at
