David Mollon Obituary

David (Dave) Mollon, 66 of Avon, formerly of Dorchester, passed away on July 4, 2019 after a brief illness. He is survived by his wife of 46 years Pauline (Lewis), his son David and partner Josh of New York, his son Patrick and wife Lauren of Braintree, daughter Jessica and husband Derrick of Stoughton, and siblings Donna, Carmella, Gail, Patricia and Raymond.

Dave was born in New Waterford, Nova Scotia, to Donald and Gertrude (McIsaac) Mollon. He married Pauline, his childhood sweetheart, on May 12, 1973 at St. Ambrose Church in Dorchester and worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston for over 30 years. Dave loved to laugh and enjoyed hockey, golf, bowling, camping, and most of all, spending time with his four grandchildren Patrick, Keeghan, Kenley and John-David.

A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, July 10, at 11am at St. Joseph the Worker Church, 1 Maquan Street, Hanson, with Father Kwang.

Burial will follow the funeral at Central Cemetery, 60 Hemlock Lane, Halifax.

Visiting hours at Leighton-MacKinnon Funeral Home, 4 West Washington Street, Hanson. Tuesday, July 9 from 4-8pm
